Lordswood Petanque Club was formed in May 1992 at LSSC as a new base for teams previously based at The Weatsheaf, Luton, Chatham. We have 4 playing terrains providing up to 22 pistes (pitches) of very high quality.
The Club is currently approximately 50 members strong including National and County level players. We continue to welcome new members of all abilities, men, women and juniors. The Club practice/social night is normally on a Monday from 8pm. League night is on a Wed and we play in both summer and winter leagues. We generally enter two/three teams in the winter league which starts in October and five/six teams in the summer league which consists of up to 8 or so divisions and starts in April. Teams normally consist of 7 or 8 players and play both home and away throughout Kent. There is also opportunity to enter open club/county competitions on weekends.
